About Me
My name is Danielle. I am originally from Washington state. I moved to Utah in 2012 to pursue an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Utah. I started my career working with teenagers in residential treatment and absolutely loved it. I then decided to pursue a master's degree in social work from the University of Utah. I spent the first five years of my career counseling teenagers, young adults, and their families. I then started my own practice in 2022 to expand the number of people I could work with. Having the opportunity to walk with people through their most difficult times is a gift that I cherish.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, acceptance and a commitment to show up to therapy as my authentic self. I understand the challenges that come with navigating the world with depression and anxiety. Together, we can unpack how you can explore unhelpful thought patterns, cope with your feelings and have confidence in your decision making.
In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, bowling, watching true crime documentaries, traveling, trying new restaurants and spending time with my husband and two daughters.
